Photo 41: An early-morning fire destroyed the Durkin House on the campus of Rider College on January 12, 1986. Lawrence Road firefighters were dispatched at 12:49 a.m. and responded with Engines 22-1 and 22-2. They remained in service on the scene for about four hours.
