Back to April 2007 Noteworthy Incidents

OVERTURNED VEHICLE
Date & Time: Tuesday, April 17, 2007 – 12:53 p.m.
Location: 1600 White Pine Circle, Lawrence Township, N.J.
Details: All three Lawrence Township fire companies were dispatched on Box 22-20 for a reported overturned vehicle with unknown entrapment. Lawrenceville Chief Ray Nagy arrived on scene at 12:54 p.m. to find a Ford Explorer resting on its side, with its driver already out and uninjured. The 61-year-old man apparently lost control of the sport utility vehicle and flipped over after hitting a pickup truck parked at the curb in front of the White Pine Apartments rental office. Because there was no entrapment, all responding apparatus were recalled with the exception of Engine 22 and Rescue 22. Lawrence Road firefighters contained anti-freeze and other fluids spilled from the overturned SUV and then stood until a tow truck removed the wreckage.
