STRUCTURE FIRE

Date & Time: Monday, October 8, 2007 – 12:55 p.m.

Location: Quaker Bridge Mall, 3320 Brunswick Pike (Route 1), Lawrence Township, N.J.

Details: The Lawrenceville, Slackwood and Lawrence Road fire companies were all dispatched on Box 23-50 for a reported fire at Quaker Bridge Mall. Crews arrived to find debris burning in the soffit in the area of the Sears store. Snorkel 21 was raised to the roof and the soffit opened to check for fire extension. After no extension was found, the blaze was under control by 2:01 p.m. Apparatus that operated on scene were: Telesquirt 23, Snorkel 21, Engine 21, Engine 22, and Rescue 22. All Station 22 units were back in quarters 2:24 p.m.
