OVERTURNED VEHICLE WITH ENTRAPMENT
Date & Time: Wednesday, October 24, 2007 – 3:30 p.m.
Location: Franklin Corner Road, near Woodmont Drive, Lawrence Township, N.J.
Details: Crews from all three Lawrence Township fire companies were dispatched to extricate a woman from the wreckage of her minivan after it flipped onto its side after colliding with a sport utility vehicle. Firefighters first stabilized the minivan, then cut away its windshield to free the woman. The woman, whose injuries were described as being minor in nature, was then taken by ambulance to an area hospital as a precaution.
