(Station 23), Rescue 22 from Lawrence Road Fire Co., and Rescue 21 from Slackwood Fire Co. at 10:35 a.m. on Box 23-50 for a motor vehicle accident with possible entrapment. The driver, a 21-year-old woman, was trapped in the wrecked car. Rescue 21 responded at 10:38 a.m., followed by Rescue 22 at 10:39 a.m. and Rescue 23 at 10:41 a.m. Rescue 21 and Rescue 22 both arrived on scene at 10:44 a.m., followed seconds later by Rescue 23. A 1.75-inch hoseline was stretched from Rescue 22 as a precaution as firefighters went to work to free the trapped woman. The woman was freed from the wreckage by 10:55 a.m. and was then rushed by ambulance to Capital Health System at Fuld hospital for treatment of hip and leg injuries. Rescue 22 cleared the scene at 11:03 a.m. and was back in quarters at Station 22 by 11:14 a.m.
